hi everyone!
the first week of school holidays are coming to an end.
how's life? haha.
anyway i was thinking christle was thinking if there should be another class outing.
well not the whole class.
maybe just the girls.
and the guys can organise one for just the guys.
it will be really good if there is another one.
maybe sometime in early december.
that's when most cca stopping too right? i think.
please respond at the tagboard!
i'm thinking for a girls' outing.
i've only asked christle about this before so now i'm asking everyone else.
haha okay.
please respond with your views,
and state which range of dates you prefer!

then by 19th nov- must submit appeal form if you want to appeal.

2 more weeks of school,
in fact only 8 more days together.
Let's have fun tomorrow at Arab Street or wherever!
Rmb to bring ccm txtbook and phone.

Wednesday and Thursday is our class chalet!
Rmb to pay the money to our treasurer.
Let's spent the 8 days remaining well together!
Let's cherish every moment~

P-Point: What the poet does.
eg: the poet shows this by ....... describes....as.....,uses...to...,compares....,suggests that
E-Evidence from the poem

E-Elaboration: What effect this has on the reader.
This creates and impression...,shows that....,emphasizes that....,suggests that....
If you could, provide more than one piece of evidence to back up your stated point.

dun just revise metaphors only....
i said imagery and not metaphor!
imagery is the whole of simile, metaphors, symbolism and personification.
its something that evokes sensory experience...
but now to think of it,
it may not come out...
coz veh little metaphors!
i think instances if irony will be tested....
I THINK ONLY hor...
coz there are quite a few number of irony in the poem...
just have confidence and familiarise with the poem, it shld be no problem....

Wishing all the members of 201 the very best of luck for Monday's Literature paper.
Hope you all aim to acheive your desired marks.
Believe and you'll succeed.
just remember all the pointers and things that Ms Beh mentioned in class for the seen poem "MCMP". That you have to do a little bit of read up and understanding the poem.
then for the unseen poem, revise what ms beh thought us abt how to tackle the questions on mood and tone and knowing the definition and what the persona is trying to bring out.
Try to know a few words from the word list that ms beh gave out also.
in case u all'd forgotten, this is the structure...
2 poetry essay-based qns.
1) My country My people (25 marks)
2) Unseen poem (25 marks)
Total: 50 marks
if im not wrong, you can get to choose the unseen qns. 2 choices.
yeah, thats all i know.
so, JIAYOU ppl.

This is especially for those who didn't photocopy the whole set today,
